Just done watching Brokeback Mountain.
Yeah, I know, it’s been such an old movie. It’s at least three or four years old. But I just found and watched it tonight
The story flows so slowly. There’s no action scene at all but a few flashbacks or imagination flashes about Jack Twist being murdered by some men.
I cannot say that I really like the movie. I think it’s quite boring. You have to watch the whole movie and wait until it ends to understand what happen. But the view of Brokeback Mountain is very beautiful. The soundtrack and the music for the back sounds are nice, too. I especially love one scene, near the end of the movie, where Ennis Del Mar smell Jack’s shirts with all of his heart, realizing that Jack is nowhere to be found anymore.
After all, it’s quite good to watch if you like drama movies, and if you want to be patient watching it, of course. It shows how sexual orientation can be switched to different line when it triggered by the loneliness. It also gives a picture of how homosexuals in the United States were treated in during the 60’s to the 80’s. Man, if people see how much freedom and rights granted to the homosexuals in the State of California today, one can’t probably imagine that Americans used to torture someone like that to death.
